Sim racing pedals

What sim pedals do people have? My G25 throttle pedal is now spiking badly and rather than trying to fix it, I'm thinking of replacing them with the CSL Elites from Fanatec. Any other decent options out there?

No idea but if your pedals are going begging, I'll take then off you.

I'm putting them up on eBay first, if no one wants them then you can have them. Nothing wrong with them otherwise.

I've got a pair of the old CSR Elite pedals which I imagine are almost identical to the CSLs and they're pretty awesome. Brake pedal in particular is good - the load sensor really adds feel to it. Took the clutch off the pedal plate, moved the throttle and brake around to a comfortable position and mounted them so the pedal hinge is at the top rather than bottom. Had them for 5 years now and they've done me just fine.

The CSR Elite wheel is bloody good too, mind. Shame Sony belatedly realised Fanatec hadn't paid them a licensing fee but were advertising them as PS4 compatible, as it meant that all racing games released after DiRT Rally don't include support for it!

PM me the auction number when you've put them on, I don't mind paying fair rate for them (and it might get you more if I hit my ceiling )

Ohhh insider dealing? naughty....

I've got a fellow simracer's old G25 pedals with a Bodnar cable. Bit wonky in calibration, but in-sim they work just fine once adjusted.

Haven't tried Fanatec products myself, but... man, the CSL Elites look like a good deal.

€250 though. My old pedals are just unusable and have been naff for almost two years, so I've taken out a small loan and will buy them in a few weeks...

Can the CSL pedals be used on a carpet or wooden floor? They don't have to be attached to a rig do they?

I've just completed my dissertation so it's time to treat myself now.

:twothumbs: Well done Paul.
Sounds like it will be an interesting read! Hope your examiners agree and mark accordingly.

Thanks! I still have three more essays and an exam within the next 3 weeks ( ) so I'm hoping Fanatec's delivery service is slow!

Okay, so now it's my turn to have issues with my trusty old G25 pedals. The brake pedal is not working any more, no software notices any input I give them. Could this be an easily resolved issue, or is it finally time to replace them? (rebooting them doesn't work, can't recalibrate them since they aren't responding, etc)
