XBOX Kinect hackers show something incredibly revolutionary
In fact I don't think anyone realises the implications of this yet:

Just going to rape this thread and turn it into the Kinect discussion thread now...
Anybody else got it?
I bought it 2 weeks ago and am loving it. During those 2 weeks I have been playing it on crutches so not the full potential... well today I have used it without crutches for the first time and it is an impressive bit of kit. Only got Adventures and Sports, but Sports has been so entertaining that I haven't actually played Adventures yet! Since I only started walking yesterday the running side of things is a bit of a struggle, but I set a 13.03 on the Sprint event.
Record in my house was set by a friend at 8.09 which is under a second away from the fastest time I have seen so far on the internet.
Apparently Kinect is coming to PC aswell. I think this will be a flop though, because PC games are usually hardcore or lazy slobs. Plus, the PC is usually in a confined space, and Kinect needs a good 6-8 feet to get anything out of it....

Pc gamers do see themselves as hardcore though.
You just need to read Ian and Pauls comments on here about Consoles and console games to know that.

PC games are just a level above consoles, that's all. Some games might ultimately do the same thing if they were made for PC and console, but you don't ever see accurate sims on consoles.

I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
