This is a long shot, but does anyone have the Turismo Carretera car/trackset converted from the official 2Pez game?
I own the actual game, but 2Pez closed years ago and I can no longer install/activate it. I also had the complete set for rFactor, but it got lost some time ago.

I am searching for a satisfactory version of Brands Hatch. The versions I have seem either grainy or don't feel right.
I play the F1 Turbo mod and the F1 1991 mod mainly - so you get an idea.
Thanks for the help
PS: is rFactor 2 worth getting, or will rF1 suffice? (I am a keyboard player btw).

Don’t bother with rF2 unless you have an amazing PC that is capable of handling its level of detail.
As for Brands, I’ll look later

The best Brands Hatch is the one converted from Simraceway. It's near 100% accurate. Everything else is a joke.Antonov wrote: ↑6 years ago I am searching for a satisfactory version of Brands Hatch. The versions I have seem either grainy or don't feel right.

could someone assists me with something here?
I'm currently playing the F1 1983-84 mod (rFactor 1), put the pitlane speed limit is insanely slow (like 5 km/h max).
where can I adjust this, so that there is no speed limit - like it used to be back then.

Go to the *.gdb file and change the following in the gdb.
Remember one thing: If you set the speed to 350, the ai will do this too. And they start to brake AFTER they hit the pit in timing gate, while YOU have to slow down before it.

thank you for the kind and useful feedback, @erwin greven
- I assume I will find the .gdb file under gamedata - locations - "track" ? (meaning the change is applicable to the track, irrespective of series)
I wish one day I could do a full race distance with truly competitive AI.

- not quite sure what you mean there? I would just like to thunder through the pitlane like they used to back in the day. But of course, it should be possible (for the AI as well). Thanks for clarifying.Remember one thing: If you set the speed to 350, the ai will do this too. And they start to brake AFTER they hit the pit in timing gate, while YOU have to slow down before it.

you will find it under gamedata - locations - track yes.
What i mean is this: Some pitlanes have a fast entry. That means that, when you set pitspeed at 350kmh or 400kmh, some cars could have troubles to slow down properly before they reach their pitstall.
That is why i build in chicanes in pitlanes when i build tracks nowadays. Then they have to slow down anyway.
Some older tracks i build

http://www.mediafire.com/file/4rf5m3k6m ... 7.zip/file 2017 Jo Siffert Motorsport Park (fantasy track)

is there a way in which I can create a custom championship? (with the rounds I desire)
I assume there is no easy way to have the best AI? (which adapts to my speed)

It is a bit difficult to find, because many files are taken down again.
Luckily i still have an installation file here in my dropbox:
