This one is tricky with a chance of thunderstorms apparently. I've gone with a dry time, it it rains I'm going to be miles away!!

Thanks, except I'm a little confused, this is the third round I've taken part in and I won the Silverstone round ;)

I think that was @XcraigX's way of saying welcome to the world of tipping and by nature having to deal with the 'crap can happen' world of variables such as the weather, that goes with the tipping game .... perhaps not realising that you are a tipper extraordinaire from a previous life and thus well aware of said pitfalls!

Yep. Full sarcasm was oozing from my reply.
The parts that keep me going round and round in this game are the "what if's...". Hence, that is the arena in which the game is played.
My latest one is the "What if I'm just second guessing myself?" I've lost a couple rounds after changing my first guess from a winning time to one way off.

Got it, I was clearly being a bit thick before, oops.

I have been playing prediction games for a lot of years, on and off (mostly on) since about 1998 I'd say. Some have involved getting the pole time, in fact @Ruslan and I played a game for a couple of years that involved doing that and yes, wet weather races are always difficult, especially when it's 'a chance of rain or a storm'.

I've second guessed myself before and usually it's a mistake. I find it better to stick with my first guess, most of the time.

Looks like we all expect it to be dry, if it's wet, @Mawerick will be in pole position I imagine. We're all within 1 second or so of each other, talk about a tightly packed group, this could be anyones if it is dry.

I changed my guess to a slower one just before the deadline. Was checking the weather forecast and as it showed thunderstorms for this morning, I thought that even if the track would dry before qualifying, any rubber left on track would've been washed away by rain anyway, so they'd be slow.

Didn't realise they'd be this slow already though.
