Latest post of the previous page:

the car/ livery launches, including Red Bull this morning, are underwhelming (to state it mildly)

but I'm ok with it as long as the racing is good.

I miss the good old days where you'd have the radical livery changes, like this one on the Minardi (99 - 00)

That was possible because of a different main sponsor. For as long the sponsor stays the same, no livery change.

The RBR has several differences. The nose is different, the rear is more narrow.
But it is still too early to take conclusions. Next week the tests days.

Looks like there's going to be more black - that small snapshot reminds me of the Lotus JPS livery just slightly. To be honest that Lotus 2012 livery is still the best one of the decade

That is a very narrow rear, the whole car looks tiny when you ignore the floor. Also it's got bunny ears

Also I think the nose is different.
Actually found the details of changes on the bbc website.
The new Red Bull is an evolution of last year's car with a number of interesting developments.

Most obvious are changes around the front of the car, to its nose tip and cone.

There is a new twist on the team's ducted nose cone, which first appeared a couple of years ago and is aimed at freeing up space for airflow along the car for aerodynamic advantage.

A new narrower nose section, with a pronounced lateral step where it meets the monocoque at the front suspension mounting point, has the same aim and is reminiscent of a similar design first introduced by world champions Mercedes and subsequently adopted by McLaren.

A curved section of bodywork under the nose, known as a cape, also follows a trend started by Mercedes.

Further back, the rear bodywork is noticeably narrower than last year's, with the aim of improving the airflow on top of the rear floor, which sucks more air out from under the car and increases rear downforce.

I'm trying to scratch my memory banks, but when did team start releasing new liveries on their year old cars instead of their new cars? Seems only a new thing, but I could be wrong. Also seems so underwhelming, especially when the livery hardly changes - not that you'd expect Ferrari to do anything different.

How...cute.

Well, with no livery changes or radically different car designs and no driver lineup changes besides at Renault and Williams, 2020 is really just 2019 v2.0 :rockedover:

Another one with the go-faster matte finish. Seem s to be a few more stickers on the McLaren for this year.

Dat back end...
Seems to be something funny going on at the rear of the McLaren. The upper bodywork is wider than the parts below it. Different aero strategy?

The Macca has the best looking livery by far at the moment. Really dig the papaya and blue combination. Not quite as saucy as last year, but still a nice color combination.

The competition isn't exactly fierce, though.

Alfa did a shakedown in their car at Fiorano today, the car driven by Kimi Raikkonen and sporting a fabulous 'snakeskin' livery with heart shaped Alfa Logos. Pretty sure its only a testing livery as the look came with the team teasing on Twitter "a snake goes through different skins before it reveals its final look".

Official launch is pre-testing on the morning of February 19th.

Best livery to date, although the McLaren looks quite sassy.
