Q3 first runs done . Vettel goes quickest of all through all three sectors, managing a 1m 27.212s, a full three tenths ahead of his team mate in P2, four tenths ahead of Bottas and six tenths ahead of Hamilton. Battle on or have Merc got something to spare still.

Thanks for providing updates. Even I was in bed during that one, just woke up before Q3. Amazing how Ferrari have turned around their performance on what has been a Mercedes track for the last 5 years.

Well, Vettel jumped the start, somehow no investigation yet. He realised his mistake and stopped again, which allowed the Merc to get past.
Very messy to see LEC and VER collide into T2. And even worse for Leclerc to drive on with pieces falling off his car. One of the pieces ricocheted off Hamilton's car and bounced off the halo, and another took off the right hand mirror.

Both ferrari drivers screwing the start makes me think that something went wrong with the start software. Otherwise if it was human mistake ferrari team principal must be having hard times. The drivers are having too much pressure on the possible oble team leader status. I think this is bullshit and makes them drive everybrace like they are battling for the championship
