Here is another. A step in the right direction as far as I am concerned!
The change to the track width is an odd one, I've heard someone mentioning it could be due to thé drainage issues they had during the MotoGP weekend. More permeable surface for the water to drain into. That would explain the additional gravel traps that have been put in in several places.
Here is a list of all the changes

Refreshing to read that some tarmac run-offs have been replaced with gravel traps. for whatever reason they did it (to help drainage or whatever) I like the idea of replacing run offs with gravel traps.

Hmm, not sure whether to stay up for this. Ferrari close, but who am I kidding?

I'm just hoping Max can mix it up. Bottas may have gotten pole but can he really contend in the race?

It has definitely rained in most places overnight here, so the circuit should be 'green' as such.
No rain predicted for the race in the local forecast on the news this morning.

I would really love to see CLAP win..... hopefully the soft tyre start strategy works for him and he can pass the Mercs early.

This is great to see.... especially given who is driving him. Had to snigger when SFW said c'mon another lap.

Me too.
I really want CLAP to win his first GP. And Silverstone is a great track to win your first GP at.
Silverstone is imo still one of the very very few tracks that maintained its character even after many changes. It is still a bloody fast track. Look at the demolished Hockenheim. The mini-Österreichring.

Sir Frank Williams was taken around Silverstone by Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes. Really magic to watch. Frank has still got so much personality, but he does look quite fragile:
