Sir Frank Williams was taken around Silverstone by Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes. Really magic to watch. Frank has still got so much personality, but he does look quite fragile:

Silverstone is imo still one of the very very few tracks that maintained its character even after many changes. It is still a bloody fast track. Look at the demolished Hockenheim. The mini-Österreichring.
I disagree. I hate the new layout. That new section is awful.

There was nothing like the old original circuit, pre even the 'Scheckter Chicane at Woodcote. I still hold fond memories of the likes of Ronnie P 4 wheel drifting through Woodcote at ridiculous speeds.
Having said that I still like parts of Silverstone such as Copse through the Becketts Maggots complex down to Stowe, before the new bits take over.

Who is here for the Grand Prix?
Watching against better judgement.
It's my home Grand Prix so I have to watch. I'm not expecting an EASY Mercedes walkover, I reckon CLAP could do something special.
The Red Bulls have just had rear wing changes on the grid, the team noticed some problems with the end plates. Apparently the stewards approved the change.
So much for any thoughts of CLAP using his softs to pass the Mercs.
The Mercs have cleared off but having their own little race with the lead swapping back and forth.
The two Haas cars both punctured and pitted.

Absolutely fantastic racing between the two Mercedes!!!

Thanks for cutting to the audience clapping their hands in the middle of the fight, you twats...
Yeah that's exactly what I thought, it's like the ADHD version of directing where they can't help pressing buttons and showing audience reactions and replays only 10 seconds after the action happened.
