I never said I'm insider and you are clearly ducking the steering wheel issue. If the cars are fine why did it take until September to get the special steering wheel for Kubica? Isn't a steering wheel a part of the car? Or maybe he's faking the arm injury all along?erwin greven wrote: ↑4 years ago Yes, why should you believe Claire? You are more an insider than she is.

Toro Rosso's name change request for 2020 has been approved. From next season on they will be Scuderia Alpha Tauri. I didn't realise until reading this article is that the name comes from Red Bull's own fashion label which was launched two years ago - https://alphatauri.com

Sounds like where the Robinson's should have ended up (danger Will Robinson).
Regarding Claire (Williams) she studied Politics at University, so in layman's terms that means she was taught how to lie without actually lying. You've more chance of getting a straight answer out of the team cat than her.

Until someone can provide me evidence that the two cars aren't the same, then I will believe they are.
There is only one video on YouTube comparing Russell and Kubica's laps and it looks like Kubica is losing a lot on the straight, but the videos are low framerate and who knows whether they are actually their best laps?

How long are you following motor sports? The more the things are equal, the more they are not. Kubica's been biting on his tongue for a long time but the truth will come out sooner rather than later. In Suzuka they refused to mount the new front wing on the car and the call was made by someone "not at the track" according to him. That's obviously Claire Williams. So they brought the new wing and left it on the shelf just not to promote Kubica over loverboy Russell.

The question I have is: why?
If he's bringing money, they can fabricate a second front wing for him. And why is his chassis that much worse?
And if he's just a quick as Georgie Boy, why slow him down on purpose?

Exactly. I mean: every second that Kubica is slower than Norris, It will be explained like this: Kubica is so slow because of whether he is naturally so slow, or it is because of his disability.
If it is the first reason: hard reality. If it is the second reason, it would bounce back on Williams: "Why contract a driver with a disability?"

None of you have explained me why Williams hasn't provided Kubica the special steering wheel until Monza though? This was agreed upon before the season but somehow Williams couldn't manufacture a wheel for nine months? If they couldn't do that then it's no wonder they can't manufacture two front wings either so it's better to leave the only one available on the shelf. Kubica has mentally checked out after the summer break, he's been in professional F1 teams before so he probably fully understands what kind of circus the Williams is right now. Russell is still the young kid who has little reference, besides he eyes moving up the ladder and maybe stays at Williams for one more season tops. Latifi is just a pay driver who will be happy to drive anything on the F1 grid since he wouldn't have gotten this chance on talent alone.
Williams contracted driver with a disability so he provides the technical input for the engineers. Russell might have the huge talent but he's a raw duck in this department and takes a back seat to Kubica.
If I shall believe Claire Williams word that it's ALL Kubica's fault I really need to know why they can't give him a damn steering wheel for nine months? None of you Williams defenders and Kubica critics haven't answered that question yet. Nine months? One steering wheel? How hard can that be? BMW gave Zanardi a hand-controlled car but Williams F1 can't build ONE damn steering wheel? And I should believe team management they're doing everything they can to help their drivers?

Delay was because of development problems of this steering wheel. And they had to make a decision: focus on solving the chassis problems or a new steering wheel.

Did they solve the chassis problems? They announced he was leaving already so why bother giving him the wheel at Monza? They could have threw it away by then. I mean they brought the new front wing for Suzuka only to leave it on the shelf so that Kubica couldn't use it following the crash in qualifying. If they didn't want to give him the front wing why bother with the steering wheel? Another case of useless team management. I just can't wait what Latifi does next seasonerwin greven wrote: ↑4 years ago Delay was because of development problems of this steering wheel. And thus they should never try to solve it?? A sort of, we won't solve the problems in 4 - 5 months, let's give Kubica his steering wheel.
Kubica should never re-enter F1 anyway. So many drivers failed to be successful after being out of F1.

It's Mercedes - they're sabotaging Kubica to make Russell look good. Oh wait, no, they want to actually know how good he is.
Right, it's Williams because they're British and are supporting the British driver. No, they need points and exposure so why cut off their nose to spite their face.
It's the mechanics fault, they're putting weaker bits on Kubica's car! No, the team may not be in great shape but their quality control still has to be too notch - the pain of Senna still echos around the hierarchy.
It's the tyres! No, that would suggest that Robert "the second coming" Kubica wasn't as good as Russell...
Well. I'm stumped.

Well, Williams could have always taken Sirotkin's money instead? What was wrong with that? I know Kubica is everyone's favorite whipping boy over here so I'm gonna enjoy you whipping on Latifi next season. You may crown Russell's ass but he's going nowhere with this team and if only Mercedes could lure Verstappen out of Red Bull, he's not going to Mercedes either. If Williams is so perfectly British and supports British drivers why they have to rely on Venezuelan, Canadian, Russian & Polish money the last few years? I'd literally laugh my ass off if Latifi proves superior to Russell next season.
