There are rumors of a very harsh post race meeting in the ferrari motorhome. There has been a serious confrontation between the team manager and the technical director. At the end mattia binotto slapped himself

Yes. The technical director and the team manager of ferrari are the same person, of course mattia binotto. The internal war between him and arrivabene was solved in favor of the glass eye swiss guy. On the other hand at this point ferrari had two wins, i imagine now arrivabene with this smile

I think we all should agree on that this race didn't happen, so we can celebrate 1000 races until we actually get a race.
Yeah I agree. We will say that Bahrain was the 1000th race instead, since technically it was.
Which race was it that was staged, but not actually held?

Well, there was the 2011 Japanese GP at Twin Ring Montegi which was called off prior due to an earthquake..... but that race was held later in the year at Aida I think it was.

Also there was New York City in 1985, but that was replaced by the European GP held at Brands later in the year.

1980 Spain was held and then later declassified as NC.

I absolutely guarantee that if Chris Amon had raced on until 1980, he would have won that race.

Indeed. I watched a good portion staring at the backs of my eyelids.

Only comments I can muster are that in three races Ferrari have given Leclerc three team orders and the penalty given to Kvyat was unnecessary.

The last Motegi IndyCar race was moved to the road course due to the earth quake damaging the oval in 2011. The 2010 MotoGP round was postponed from April to October due to the volcano erruption in Iceland.

I got a few things wrong. I was thinking Pacific GP 1995 at Aida! Something in my head said it changed venue and I posted without checking anything.. Senior moment.
