I saw a lot of (so called) journo's making a big deal of the "new Bottas" and how he supposedly a title threat. I mean, that's....a bit rich. Either that, or they've gone into full panic mode writing Ferrari off completely and is trying to drum up some sort of alternate timeline where the two Mercs will have the mother of all title battles this year.

I was a bit disappointed that HAM and VETs tyres they fitted early on completed the (rest of the) race distance. Ideally they would have had to stop for a new set of boots around lap 40. The rubber is still too durable.

I guess the 2012 and early 2013 season rubber won't come back (corporate image of Pirelli), but boy were those classic races.
