Bottas is struggling on medium tyres. It seems that some car suffered blistering on that compound

Arrivabene speaks of a reaction of pride. Ferrari weekend was a total disaster. The real reaction of pride would be a one two win in one of the next races. At the end of his interview to sky arrivabene admitted that there have been discussions in the team. The bitter end is that the death of marchionne completely changed this season, with the ferrari losing the real leader they desperately need now.

Worth watching the race? The entire race or only selected laps? If so, which laps?

Well that was a disappointing race..... Max was over the top, suggesting that because Max had keft the circuit Kimi should have given him space to return, and then Seb having yet another brain fade just before he was into a DRS zone, and also with Max having a penalty already issued. Seb really is not the sharpest tool in the shed. A sandwich short of a picnic under pressure.

Ericsson is also a fool and thank heavens we are rid of him. KMag is just a danger.

So all we need is for Hamilton to win in Austin and for Seb to not come 2nd and Lewis is WDC again. Good effort Seb, considering you were leading the title race after the British GP and just a few races later are now all but 3 races behind.

So Vettel gets himself into another incident and is normal, blames the other driver for his mistake. Verstappen’s penalty for his incident with Kimi was weird, because he was effectively penalized for trying to not cut the chicane.

Race was ok, some nice battles up and down the field. Interesting to see so many overtakes into Spoon.

No, Max was penalised for a dangerous rejoin, using the full width of the track, forcing KR to leave the track in attempted avoidance, Max effectively crossing the track diagonal to the track direction, when he should have straightened the chicane out and joined the track by filtering in to one lane further on. He had already cut the chicane by running off track so too late to try not to do that. The horse had bolted on that one.

Bottom line is that Max had gone 4 wheels off the track and it is his responsibility to rejoin without gaining advantage or impeding others. Not charge diagonally across the tack and contact another car.

You misunderstand me @Everso Biggyballies. I totally agree with what you’re saying and the assessment of the penalty. However when you look at what Max did, he made the decision to follow the line of the chicane instead of merely running straight across. Had he done the latter he would had backed off so as not to gain an advantage.

this.

Apart from Montoya on Barrichello in 2003, I don't remember an overtake there. Today there were 'tons'.
