This was the most emabrassing race for formula 1
The leader lapping 10 seconds slower than his own pole (which would mean 15/17 seconds in a normal racetrack) justifies all my rants. Embarassing. Pirelli you’re the shame of this sport. Keep you hyper ultra idiot soft in you turkish factory and please get some decent tyres that justify the cost of the sky subscription
This is Monaco. You can't compare this with any other track in the world.
Warm up done - main event coming up :P.

A bit processional but I actually quite enjoyed it with the different tyre plays, although the race pace compared to qualy is pathetic. Same for all though. I thought Max might have done better than he did on the hypersoft at the end. That is Monaco and the traffic is part of the deal. Part of the appeal.
Late tyre stop backfired for Vandoorne.

And now i want to look into the head of Max: Daniel winning the race with a malfunctioning car. What if Max started at the front row??

I must admit my heart sank when Dan reported problems with loss of power. How he got to the end I have no idea. A very well deserved win.

Regardless of whether we thought this was a boring or interesting race, it still produced more overtaking than the Australian GP.

Yes. The top moment is having once more time the confirmation that alberto of monaco was fruit of a cradle exchange. That man cannot be the son of grace kelly

This race was driven at the slowest pace ever. He would have won it even with a tricycle instead of his renault power unit

It's not the lack of overtaking i m complaining. It's the turtle pace! I'm sure a f2 would lap faster in a certain point of the race

Getting ready for the new engine rules (I think no MGU-K is one of the already agreed proposals)
