First you get the power, then you get the money, then you get the women

Then there's the fact that F1 drivers abuse white lines in public at every circuit around the world. So I'd argue that F1 should be renamed the "Scarface World Championship".

The 2019 Miami Grand Prix is a go. At least as far as the village is concerned - they gave their approval.

I don't see how F1 would not go ahead with it now, as they were obviously the party pushing for it.

In related news, Hamilton has offered his 'help' to improve the circuit lay-out.

As we have seen with many other proposed USGP sites a go ahead is far from it happening. (New York has has more than one approval/all systems go before reality checks in and the proposal fizzles out.)

I see a pending lawsuit, or perhaps the true venue of the 2019 F1 race - http://miamigpraceway.com/

Oh and I decided to do a Lewis and redesign the circuit for the Miami GP - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7239788

It is based on the circuit used for 1989 and 1990 US GPs in Phoenix, Arizona.

I would love to see Laguna Seca or Willow Springs brought up to world-class standards and run races there instead of another street circuit. I think we need a race on the west coast, not another east coast GP with Austin already in the southeast corner.

I'd take any street circuit over these modern run-off areas. Paul Ricard will be a nightmare straight out of a random video game :annoyed:

it is choosing the best out of two evils. Or you want a lot of VSC's or drivers who go over the limit because of the massive amounts of run offs.

Indeed :haha:

If anything it just shows how interchangeable these US city tracks really are. I also nearly converted the Detroit track after a request from @Antonov

I’m sure the Indy road course wouldn’t be so hard to do either.

Tarmac run-offs are the worst. Ever since they ruined Parabolica and Pouhon I'll never change my mind on this.
