Normally there are multiple and immediate posts in this thread each year. I'm guessing that considering no-one has nominated because the season wasn't very memorable. To be honest, I can't remember any truly memorable races or overtakes.

Best race of the year - Baku
Worst race of the year - Abu Dhabi
Overtake of the year - Ricciardo on two other cars into T1 at Baku
Surprise of the year - Hamilton outdriving Bottas easily

Driver of the year: Esteban Ocon (I'm rating this on account of how I expected the drivers to perform before the season, and how they actually performed)
Team of the year: Force India
Car of the year: Force India
Best race of the year: Baku, it was madness. Like Woodstock.
Worst race of the year: Abu Dhabi, and a few others.
Overtake of the year: Didn't Ricciardo overtake someone at Monza? Kimi?
Surprise of the year: That Palmer wasn't sacked sooner
Moment of the year: When Palmer was sacked
Disappointment of the year: Jolyon Palmer. I mean, what the hell. Yes, he lucked into the points at Singapore. But he was, what 0-16 in qualifying against Niko? Did he beat him on merit in any race?
WTF of the year: Baku.
Born grumpy.

Marcus Ericsson - Future WDC™. Traces of irony can be found in this signature.

Well it makes a refreshing change from...

"BLUE FLAGS! BLUE FLAGS!"
"What the hell are we doing here?"
"Blessed!"
"You are the greatest fans in the world!"
"What the F***K?!"
"Why do I get penalised for dangerous driving?"

@Kals I think you need to edit the link above. It does not connect. I think it might be the space after www before the dot and also after F1 before .com.

It does that automatically. formula1.com prevents hotlinking.

I just saw this poll on YouTube...Pretty much voting for "Schumacher's overtake on Badoer' or "Barbazza's overtake on Fittipaldi".

Yeah I thought the same. What about Hamilton v Vettel for the lead in Spain, or Austin? How about Vettel against the Force India pair into T1 at Montreal? Verstappen on Hamilton for lead in Malaysia?

I had forgotten about Vettel v Hamilton in Spain.

As I mentioned then, shades of Mansell v Piquet in Silverstone 1987.
This kind of certainty comes but once in a lifetime
