Hamilton's pace versus Alonso was immediate. For Vandoorne, it has taken more than half a season to get there.

I'd say no, not really. Points wise maybe, but with Honda's perfomance and reliability this year, who's scored points between them has been a bit of a lottery.

It's one of those silly throw away 'facts' where there's only a vague similarity. But it doesn't mean it isn't funny. Like the one I mentioned after yesterday's race:

Alonso will only get slower.

The question is, how quick will the decline happen?

it already happened at Ferrari in fact.
Talking about pace over 1 lap. Usually he couldn't qualify better than 4th or 5th, and Massa would be closer or ahead.
It's in the races he is still brilliant, and although age brings wisdom, it will not bring extra speed.

Alonso simply didnt like Hamiltons pace and charisma as a person, then spitting his dummy out when he didnt get his own way was very immature. I hope he does not do this again this year or next (if he stays)

Another new fact...

Each time Kvyat is dumped by Red Bull, Nico Hulkenberg fails to score points.

Illuminati now confirmed!

Felipe Massa has finished in the points at 50% of the Brazilian GPs following his retirement and has cried at 100% of them.

Since Lewis Hamilton became a 4-time world champion, both Felipe Massa and Rubens Barrichello have appeared on the podium more times than Lewis.
