Renamed Manor McLaren.

That is if the Ministry of Defence allows the cars to leave England for Australia.
Old news now but.....
Exiled former McLaren boss Ron Dennis has joined a new innovation advisory panel set up by the UK’s Ministry of Defence, his first public role since being forced to step down as head of the McLaren Technology Group.
The 69-year-old was appointed to the panel by Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon, who announced the new structure during a speech to engineering students, academics and apprentices at the University of Oxford.

Bear in mind last years pole time of 1:22.000 was set at the GP in May, when track temps were considerably warmer and also 3 months of updates fitted. The outright fastest testing lap in 2016 was Kimi with a 1:22.765. That is an improvement this year of over 4 seconds.
warmer temps makes the cars lose downforce and, therefore, speed around Barcelona.

2016 was an odd year. Typically, winter testing times are faster than the pole, or at least I remember it this way

How many laps have Vandorne done? Given his a rookie, he might suffer from the lack of mileage. Poor guy.

Alonso is out lapping again after his morning failures, and is indeed approaching Verstappen's total laps for the day. Max has been in the garage since before lunch with 'turbo issues' and checkson his Renault engine. Alonso may be lapping again but he is still very slow, only 12th fastest and still lapping in the mid 22's, 4 seconds off the pace.

Renault (engines) are quietly hiding behind McLarens cloud as their reliability also has been less than impressive.

Kimi said he could have gone quicker. That's kind of a "no shit sherlock" comment.

Lewis said that he's still to find the perfect performance window of the W08.

Melbourne could be interesting.

You're assuming they actually start the race, at this rate they won't even make it to the grid before the PU shuts down.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
