I have to laugh now. Last night, I remembered something from the dim and distant past of my brief and relatively undistinguished racing 'career'.

In my final year of driving, 1983, in a heat race at Shannonville in my Crossle/Pulsar FF, I passed three cars on successive laps to vault from fourth to the lead and take a win.

After the race, my friends gave me the nickname, 'Hotdog'. Can you believe it?

well done to all the winners and especially to Groupbite for the best newcomer award. A deserved winner of that section and to finish runner up to him is top notch. My knowledge of motorsport is not in the same league as his so to get a mention alongside him is an award in itself.
