I had no idea the site was down until 30 minutes ago, thank you @erwin greven for notifying me! How long we were offline for?

The site was disabled by the host, who said there was malicious activity detected on the site. I don't know what that means exactly, but I removed the block and now it's working again.

Please note that if the forum ever closes down, I'll never just 'pull it' like that. So in the future, please assume that it's a temporary technical problem.

I tried last night my time for a few hours. Tried on computer and phone with just a forbidden to access 403 message showing on both. It made me realise that I had no way of getting in touch as I always contact you by PM if not via the forum content, and not being able to access the forum....

I did not think you /TFL had disappeared for ever but I was a little concerned as it was an error message never seen before. I never thought it would be other than a server glitch.

@PTRACER can you PM me your email addy in case it ever happens again? Thanks.

I think it was down from around 14.00 CET or thereabouts. Or that's when I noticed it.

The email they sent basically said "Please don't ask us, because we don't know, please hire someone who is an expert at website coding who can work it out for you." So, I just grabbed a backup of the site files from a month ago and uploaded them.

I should check the logs, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was something to do with the CPdB getting a lot of hits all of a sudden.

Yeah I noticed that too..... was going to send you an email but thought I would wait an hour or so to see if I could access then before sending a panic mail. Sure enough was ok a couple of hours later.
