Really?
You know, he said "traffic accident", so it might be that he was driving a road car in a street closed to traffic, or something like that.

Maybe it's better to wait for @hollie3sa as he also want to translate audio.

My friend said that speed during accident was really high ("something with few hundreds"), so it could be possible that he crashed at the wheel of his racing car. If it's true, there's two versions: 1. if he was on the way to racing event or returned from it, then it's clearly traffic accident; 2. if he made tests in closed circuit or even on public roads then it could be called "racing accident", despite that in latter variant it would be added to LWF section;

If version #1 is true, then I will delete Galiardo from "to confirmation" list, if version #2 is true, then I'll move him to "confirmed" list; I count some LWF cases as "racing accident", if they happened during private sessions at racing circuits (like Sean Edwards, who was instructor to another driver; it wasn't track day or driving experience) or public roads with race drivers, who practiced for certain events/series (Korzanowski/Zembowicz, A.Giovanetti) or who were confirmed to be legal race drivers.

Or do we need help from someone who has already created such a thing (e.g. something like a database for visual media content?)
I'll try to do this but I have one question: what kind of database we would be use? I mean, will we redo part of CPDB with fatal accidents or will start something new?
@PTRACER

Recommendations? I suppose you're running quite low on time to do it yourself. Right?
Very little right now. I could give you the program I use though if you want to have a play. Understanding of how databases work (e.g. primary keys, table relationships, MySQL etc.) is pretty much essential.
I like the challenge.

Racer Peters (http://www.motorsportmemorial.org/focus ... =ct&n=5988) is now omitted from my list as it's need to confirm type of vehicle - Internationale Österreichische Alpenfahrt was held for automobiles and motorcycles and several motorcycle riders also were riding Puch (that company built both cars and motorcycles).
Added MM.org number for Michael Robinson

At the weekend (after I'll make my decision about type of database I want to use) I'll add to "unconfirmed" list several French racers from Pilotos Muertos list, published in early 2007.

Incredible that I didn't notice it before.
It happened near my town, and I had tried to look for photos for a lot of time, without finding anything.
I also tried to see if the local library had any newspapers of that era, but they didn't.

I'll add it to the CPDB.

Alternatively, I could copy/paste the structure of the CPdB and change some category titles to suit, if you don't mind it taking a while.
I'll go with first choice as it sounds more interesting to make something own.

Added full name to Gays Biro

4. Added several Frenchman from Pilotos Muertos list who could be victims of racing accident; they're marked bold in list; I'll add more cases today.

Several names have presumed cause of death, but I cannot confirm if it's true; they came from Autoanddrive lists, who marked Jean-Claude Fountaine as victim of traffic accident (while he was killed during hillclimb), so I cannot crossed their names from list without confirmation.

Maybe a bit off-topic request, but did anybody know free digital archive of French newspapers for 20th century?

Even regional one would be helpful for my research.

Some don't work, some archives are s**t. But some work: http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/france.htm

I don't think there's a collective archive for French newspapers

[sarcasm]Fantastic[/sarcasm] site, none of newspapers archives archives was opened; I even tried to open few archives of modern newspapers from my county, but nothing happened. Anyway, thanks.

BTW, @hollie3sa, maybe you have links for German newspapers archives?

Yep, The crash seems to be a little strange. He broke the steering entering turn one at the BAPS Motor Speedway in Pennsylvania, and the he crashed in a opening in the fence, i think something like micheal waltrip at Bristol 1990. I've read that there are photos around the internet, but i didn' found anything. Also, i think he died instantly, the coroner was called at the track right after the crash happened, so it could be a really bad accident.
