You may find it at the bottom of the Index page, or a link to the chat itself is at the top between Search and FAQ.

Please do not abuse it, it is for posting Live Streams and discussions to subsequent race chat only.

There are instructions within the chatbox itself which tell you how to turn it off if you don't want to see it.

Summarise:

Will people use a chat window on the homepage to post/look for streams/discussion threads? I definitely would.

Unless anyone has any reasons for us not to, let's go for it.

Yes I would, particularly if linked to some form of calendar / advance warning. My problem with the feeds are usually that I might have missed the event completely due to our time zone when I am back in Aus and the the event is in the middle of the night. With respects NASCAR feeds are of little interest as, should I want to watch it we get it live on TV anyway, but just about anything else such as B/S/E/WTCC, DTM, Blancpain, ALMS, ELMS, LM24, Bikes etc etc are of interest.

There aren't any calender mods for these types of forums sadly, I would have to create it on a separate website. I hope people who use this chatbox would be able to give people a day or two's advance warning

The mod is installed on the test forum. Have a play, login not required!
http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/testforum/

Main questions:

- It can either go above, or below all forums. Which is better?
- Should it be on the homepage at all? It can also be accessed via a link next to FAQ, but it's your call.
