Would rather download it if it's worth keeping, but if it's not, like a minor crash, would prefer to watch on Youtube.

Do you prefer downloading or streaming videos?

I'm just interested now whether people would prefer to watch all videos via a streaming service like Youtube, rather than actually downloading them.

Take this video for example. Only one response so far, let's assume only kals has downloaded. Would you be much more likely to watch the video if it was on Youtube rather than as a download?

I prefer downloading as it means I can have video in a good file / format / quality, etc... which isn't really available when ripping a video from Youtube, plus I do a lot of leeching and seeding via RU and other boards. However Youtube / streaming videos have their use.

Clicked the wrong option. I am for option #3. DL big files and the very small ones we could use You Tube or such.
Conceirning the crashes video's i gave my opinion already.

if it's xyz stuffs it into wall I usually watch it on Youtube, but if it's something like a season review then I'll download it, although I personally rarely do that nowdays.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
If this is the case, you may click here to solve the problem, or alternatively here too.

I rarely watch any crash footage unless it is of historical content although if I do then Youtube is more than adequate as I would have no interest in downloading it.

However, longer clips that are of personal interest, such as the general type of more historic biased stuff, or modern 'feature' stuff I hate watching on youtube and would always go the download option.
