There's a dip in the road, just before Red Jacket corner:
Going round North Bend, the road drops blindly downhill a little way round, making it difficult to see what's round the corner until you're there:
Once you do get to the bottom of the hill, you find yourself at Muleshoe Corner; a 180-degree right hand hairpin:
