1934  ┬╗ Penya Rhin Grand Prix




During the practice session of June 16th, the Maserati 8CM #14 of Peter de Paolo crashed heavily into a lamp post on the winding uphill section following the tribunes straight. Peter suffered severe concussion and several fractures and was hastly evacuated to the Corachàn Clinic where he remained unconscious for a while. He eventually recovered although the accident marked the end of his racing career.
