The chaos of the 2020 Busch Clash came to a head during the first 'Green-White-Checkered' attempt. Race leader Denny Hamlin (#11) had not elected to pit to check for tire damage after being involved in the first crash of the race. As a result, the right rear tire blew out on Hamlin's car coming through Turn 3, sending him spinning in front of the entire pack. Not surprisingly, this led to a major pileup that took out more than half of the of the 18-car field. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
