(#1) Rick Mast received a slight tap in the tri-oval on lap 166, causing him to lose control. The car then caught air between the flat and banked surface before flipping the car onto its roof. Mast hit the wall before sliding around one thousand feet on his roof, coming to a stop upside down in the grass.
