Coming into the tri-oval on Lap 46, Daniel Sasnett was turned by Dave Mader III into the outside wall. Sasnett hit the wall head-on, then spun multiple times before stopping on the apron. Ed Pompa (#22) lost control as he slipped by Sasnett, spinning into the right front of Andrew Belmont (#2). Sasnett was able to walk away without serious injury.
